What we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it removed.

What we collect
When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to put in the message, along with your company and phone number if you provide them. We do not collect anything else through the form.
Server logs record IP addresses and request metadata for a short retention period. These are used to diagnose faults and detect abuse, not to build a profile of you.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry and, where it becomes an engagement, to administer the contract. That is the entirety of the purpose. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted after twelve months. Records relating to an engagement are retained for as long as the contract and applicable tax law require, then deleted.
Client production data
Where an engagement requires access to your systems, production data stays in your environment wherever it can. Where we do need a copy, we work through scoped credentials with an audit trail, and local copies are deleted at project close. Our security practices document is available on request.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@softifylabs.com and we will action it within thirty days.
